Terms of Service
Last updated 8 October 2026
These terms govern your organisation’s use of TextLev. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of your organisation.
The service
TextLev is software for recording LEV test readings, comparing them against benchmarks you set, producing reports and sending reminders. It is a tool to support a competent person. It does not carry out examinations and does not replace professional judgement.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the benchmarks, tolerances and readings you enter, and for the competence and qualifications of the people carrying out examinations.
- You are responsible for checking that each report meets your legal and client requirements (including COSHH Regulation 9 and HSG258) before you issue it.
- Keep your login credentials secure and use the service lawfully.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed through Stripe, in advance, per the plan and seat count shown on the billing page. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period. Prices exclude VAT where VAT applies.
Your data
You own the data you enter. We process it as described in our Privacy Policy. You may request an export or deletion at any time.
Availability
We aim to keep TextLev available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Email reminders are a convenience: you remain responsible for meeting your examination due dates.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms and will give notice of material changes. Either party may end the agreement at any time; we may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
